About us

We are  Polish nursery specializing in rare plants, mainly cornelian cherry(cornus mas). 
We currently have over 80  varieties of cornus mas, some cornus officinalis and hybrid c. mas x c. officinalis in  collection and most of them are in our offer. List of them you can find here: Collection
We cooperate with Arboretum Bolestraszyce, professor Svetlana Klymenko from Kiev Botanic Garden and some other universities and botanic gardens.

We sell our products all over EU. All of our plants are sold in pots thrue almost all year.  Cost of sending depends on which country we send. Usually it vary between 15-30 € per parcel.

Dogwood varieties

Alosza (Alesha)
Ukrainian variety with yellow fruits. One of the earliest varieties with fruits ripening in early August. Oval fruits with an average weight of 3.3-5 g, maximum 5.7 g. Dry matter content about 20% of the weight of the fruit. The content of sugar is about 12%, acids about 1.4-1.5%, pectin 1-1.2%, vitamin C 117-145 mg%. Very tasty for fresh, also recommended for all kinds of preserves due to the interesting color and taste.

Bolestraszycki
The Polish varieties are characterized by one of the largest fruits - the average weight is 5-7,6 g. Pear fruit shape, dark cherry color. The average share of the pit is about 14% of the weight of the fruit. The variety is characterized by high content of sugars (16%), acid content about 2.8%. Mid-early variety, ripens evenly in mid-September. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, for tinctures, preserves, compotes and for dyeing fruit products.

Dublany
Polish fruit variety bred in Arboretum Bolestraszyce. The fruit has a high content of sugars (14%), the content of acids is around 2,4%. Average fruit weight 4,5-7 g. Tasty, raw fruit, good for tinctures and other preserves. Early maturing variety at the turn of August and September.

Ekzoticznyj
Ukrainian fruit variety. Large bottle-cylindrical fruit with an average weight of 7-8.5 g. Sugar content 10.4%. The seed is about 10% of fruit. The average yield from a 15-year-old bush is 40-50 kg. The fruits ripen in September. They can persist for a long time on the bush after ripening. They are suitable for longer storage.

Elegantnyj
Ukrainian fruit variety. The average weight of the fruit is 4.5-5 g. The fruit has a bottle shape, ripe is cherry-black with a dark flesh. Dry matter content about 22% of the weight of the fruit. The sugar content is about 9.1%, acids about 1.8-1.9%, pectins 0.6-1%, vitamin C 110 mg%, anthocyanins in flesh 104mg% and in the skin 773 mg%. The average yield of a 10-15 year old tree is 20-80 kg. One of the earliest varieties - maturing takes place in mid-August. The fruits ripen almost simultaneously. They do not fall and stay on the bush. The fruit is very tasty for fresh, suitable for processing into all processed products.

Elena
Ukrainian variety with round-oval fruits, bright red to dark red. Flesh delicate, very juicy. A ripening variety at the beginning of September. The weight of the fruit is 5-6 g. The weight of the stone is only 9% of the weight of the fruit. From 20-year-old trees, 35-50 kg of fruit were harvested. Ripe fruit is sweet and very juicy, suitable for fresh consumption as well as for juices, jellies and compotes.

Florianka
Polish fruit variety bred in the Arboretum in Bolestraszyce. Fruits of oval shape, red to dark red in color, average weight of 3.5-4,5 g. Level of sugars about 10% and 2.8% of acids. The share of the stone 11%. Late variety - matures in the second half of September. Harvest period short. The fruit is suitable for tinctures and other preserves.

Yantarny(Jantarny)
Ukrainian variety with yellow fruits. One of the most prolific varieties - 30 kg of fruit were harvested from a 10-year-old bush. Tasty, oval, amber-yellow fruits of medium size - weight on average 3.2-4 g. Sugar content approx. 9.6%, acids approx. 1.7%, pectin 1%, vitamin C 121 mg%. Fruit for fresh and processed food with an interesting color. They ripen from the end of August to around mid-September and fall to the ground. 50-60 kilograms of fruit were collected from 22-year-old trees.

Juliusz
Polish fruit variety. The fruits ripen from the end of August. Spherical fruits with a red-pink color. The sugar content is 11% and 3% acids. The average fruit weight is 2.7 g. The fruits are excellent for ensiling and for preserves, eg compotes. Tasty fresh. A variety with the shortest harvesting period from Polish varieties - about a month. A variety with a high degree of growth.

Korrałowyj
Ukrainian variety with a unique, orange-colored fruit. The fruit ripens unevenly at the turn of August and September. The fruits are very tasty, sweet, they fall off after ripening. They ripen well after harvesting. Fruit weight 3.4-4.4 g. Sugars represent approx. 9.1%, acids approx. 1.5% and pectin 0.85% fruit weight. The content of vitamin C 117 mg%, anthocyanins in the flesh about 7 mg% and in the skin 160 mg%.

Korałłowyj Marka
One of the tastiest varieties of Ukrainian, barrel-like fruit. The average fruit weight is 5.6-6.8 g. The sugar content is 12.7%. The average yield from a 10-year-old bush is 30-40 kg. Maturity: mid-August. One of the best varieties in terms of biochemical fruit composition, they are good for fresh, frozen and for preserves.

Kostia
One of the latest varieties (end of September-beginning of October), the fruits ripen at the same time. Fruitful variety. Large fruit, weighing 5.6-5.8g (max. 10.2g), cylindrical, tapering to the tail. There are visible longitudinal ribs on the surface, which no other variety has. Dark red fruits, ripen evenly. Red pulp, separates well from the stone. You can collect 45-50 kg from a 17-year-old tree. Ripe fruits stay on the tree for a long time. Fruit recommended for juices, jams, compotes, tinctures and for candies.

Kotula
A Polish variety with pear, dark red fruit. The average fruit weight is 3-4.5 g. Mid-early variety, ripening in mid-September. The average share of the stone in the fruit weight is 14%. The fruits contain about 12% sugars and 2.2% acids. In 100 g of fruit there are on average 26 mg of vitamin C and 108 mg of flavonoids and 346 mg of iridoid. The fruit is especially suitable for jams and preserves.

Kresowiak
Polish variety with an average harvesting time. Almost black cherry fruit weighing 3-4.5 g. Pear fruit shape. They contain an average of 35 mg% of vitamin C, 15% of sugars and 2.5% of acids. The average share of the pit in the fruit weight is 15%. The fruit is suitable for all processed products.

Łukianowskij
A Ukrainian variety with large, elongated fruit in the shape of a bottle with an average weight of 6 g, dark red, in the period of maturity almost black. Flesh dark red, firm, juicy and aromatic. The fruits contain 8.4% sugars, organic acids 1.7-1.9%. Spindle-shaped seeds, small. The fruits ripen at the beginning of September. Ripe fruits do not fall and can stay on the tree for 3-4 weeks. Harvested fruits can be stored for 3-4 weeks. Fruiting up to 70 kg from a 20-year-old tree. Fruit recommended for compotes, jams, juices and tinctures.

Matador
A large-fruited French variety. Tasty, juicy fruits weighing 6.2-7.4 g. Late ripening at the turn of September and October. Very good for fresh consumption. Nieżnyj Ukrainian variety with yellow fruits, with full maturity transparent, bottle shape with elongated seed. The average fruit weight is 4-5,5 g. The fruits ripen in the second half of August and fall. The seed is approximately 10% of the weight of the fruit. Tasty fruits in a raw condition, are also suitable for preserves, especially for jams. From a 12-15 year old tree, 35-40 kg of fruit are harvested.

Nikolka
One of the earliest Ukrainian varieties. The fruits ripen at the beginning of August, almost simultaneously. It is characterized by very high and stable performance. The average fruit weight is 5-6 g, pear shape. The color of the dark-red fruit when fully ripe, almost black. Flesh dark red, delicate, juicy, aromatic, when fully ripe has a pleasant sweet and sour taste. Fruits contain 8.6%, sugars, organic acids, 1.3%. The small, oval seed, separates very well from the pulp. For fresh consumption but also suitable for high quality preserves: jams, tinctures, juices, etc. Important features in the cultivation are: early harvest, simultaneous maturation, high efficiency.

Oryginalnyj
A Ukrainian variety with elongated fruits with an average weight of 4.4-5.4 g. Dark red fruits with a stone easily separating from the pulp. Tasty on raw. The fruit ripens evenly in mid-September and does not fall off. Recommended for compotes, jellies and especially for candies. 

Radost
Ukrainian variety at mid-season - early September. Annual fruiting, plentiful. After ripening, the fruits stay on the bush for a long time. Fruit with an average weight of 5.2-6.6 g, dark red and almost full maturity. The seed is approximately 10.6% of the weight of the fruit. Efficiency about 45-50 kg from a 20 year old tree. The content of dry matter about 24% of the weight of the fruit. Sugar content approx. 7.1%, acids approx. 1.4%, pectins 0.8%, vitamin C 106 mg, anthocyanins in flesh 36 mg% and in the skin 820 mg%. Fruit for fresh and all kinds of processing. Recomended for smalland commercial orchards

Słowianin
Polish fruit variety bred in the Arboretum Bolestraszyce with an average harvesting period, ripening in the second half of September. Fruit pear shape, dark cherry colour. Tasty fruit for fresh consumption and for preserves: tinctures, jams, compotes, etc. Due to the high content of pectins is especially suitable for puree and natural cloudy juices. They have an average sugar content of 14% and acids of about 2.7% and about 2% of pectin compounds. The fruit stays on the bush for a long time.

Starokijewski
Ukrainian variety ripening at the beginning of September. Ripe dark red fruit with a bottle shape with a narrow neck. Flesh red to dark red, juicy. Ripe tasty fruit, suitable for direct consumption as well as for preserves. The average fruit weight is 5.6-6 g (max 7.8 g). Seed mass 9.8-10.8% of the weight of the fruit. Yield from 15-year-old tree 35-40 kg and from 30-year-old up to 80 kg. The fruit does not fall after ripening.

Swietłaczok
Ukrainian variety with large fruits (6.5-7.5 g), even up to 10 g in favorable conditions, in the shape of a bottle, red and black. Flesh dark red, thick, sweet and sour, very aromatic. Efficiency - up to 60 kg from a 15-year-old tree. The fruits ripen at the end of August, they do not spoil and are well suited for freezing and processing. The fruit contains 9.7% of sugars, organic acids - 1.6%. The dry matter content is about 22.7% of the weight of the fruit. The content of pectin 1%, vitamin C 150 mg%, anthocyanins in the parenchyma 102 mg% and in the skin 710 mg%. Seeds about 9% of the fruit weight. Fruits do not fall from the bushes, after storage you can store up to 4 weeks. Fully ripe fruits are very tasty. They are suitable for all kinds of preserves.

Swietlana
Polish variety with pear and dark-fruit fruits. The average fruit weight is 4-5,5 g. Medium ripening in mid-September. The average share of the stone in the fruit weight is 14%. The fruit contains about 14% sugars and 2.5% acids. In 100 g of fruit there are on average 20 mg of vitamin C and 224 mg of flavonoids and 280 mg of iridoid. Very tasty fruit suitable for all products: tinctures, compotes, etc.

Szafer
One of the tastiest Polish varieties from Arboretum Bolestraszyce. Characterized by the highest content of sugars - 16%, acids about 2.4%. In 100 g of fruit there are on average 58 mg of vitamin C and 160 mg of flavonoids and 195 mg of iridoid. The average share of pips in the weight of fruit is about 14%. The variety is universal due to the time of ripening, the possibility of use and biochemical composition. The fruits ripen mid-September. The variety is suitable for tinctures, juices, jams, purees and for dyeing fruit products.

Władymirskij
Ukrainian variety with large fruits - average weight - 7.5 g. Shiny, red and black and red fruits, fully maturity - black, oval-cylindrical shape. Medium-late puberty - second half of September. The content of dry matter about 20% of the weight of the fruit. Sugar content approx. 8.5%, acids approx. 1.7%, pectin 1%, vitamin C 142-150 mg%, anthocyanins in the flesh 121mg% and in the skin 721 mg%. One of the most productive varieties - from a 20-year-old bush, you can harvest up to 55-60 kg.

Wydubieckij
Ukrainian large-fruited variety with an average fruit weight of 6.5-7.6 g. One of the longest varieties - the average yield from a dozen-year-old bush is about 50kg. Date of ripening: beginning of September. The fruit does not fall after ripening, it can be harvested once. Oval-pear fruit, dark-red color, shiny, juicy with sweet and sour pulp. The content of dry matter about 20% of the weight of the fruit. Sugars represent about 7.5%, acids about 1.6%, and pectin 1% by weight of the fruit. The content of vitamin C 157 mg%, anthocyanins in the parenchyma 98 mg% and in the skin 850 mg%. The fruits are tasty raw and suitable for processing into any processed products.
